Front Server

Le B is seeking an experienced Front Waiter to join our dining room team. The Front Waiter works closely with the Captain to support a seamless dining experience and uphold the standards of formal service.

Le B, from Chef Angie Mar, is a fine dining restaurant in Greenwich Village where hospitality is rooted in attention, anticipation, and precision. The restaurant has earned Four Stars from Forbes Travel Guide, and its bar program has been recognized by Esquire as one of the best in America.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support the Captain throughout service
• Maintain awareness of table progression and guest needs
• Execute table maintenance and prepare tables for each course
• Assist with the delivery and presentation of food and beverages
• Communicate closely with the service team and kitchen to maintain proper pacing
• Maintain strong knowledge of the menu and service standards
• Remain attentive to reservation notes, dietary restrictions, and special occasions
• Maintain clean and organized service stations and dining room areas
• Complete opening, closing, and assigned side work
• Participate in pre-service meetings and training
• Support the broader service team as needed

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous fine dining experience required
• Strong understanding of formal service and dining room etiquette
• Excellent attention to detail and guest awareness
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to remain composed in a demanding service environment
• Professional demeanor and polished dining room presence
• Strong food and beverage knowledge
• Intermediate wine knowledge and confidence with formal wine service
• Ability to take direction and execute established standards consistently
• Collaborative and disciplined approach to service
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and safely lift and carry up to 30 lbs.
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
