Job Description
Grind and cut tubes for front pump seal parts per customer specifications with a cellular manufacturing operation. Operator processes rubber tubes by procuring tubes from staging area, setting up grinding machines, selecting proper size mandrels, and mounts of grinders.Set up grindersOperates multiple grinding machines process tubes to specific dimensions.Removes mandrels from grinders, dismounts tubes from mandrels at completion of operationsVisually inspects tubes per standardsPrepares tubes for cutting operation by mounting on proper mandrels, paint/strip tubes as required, setting up chisel cutters, placing tubes in cutters and processing to specific dimensionsUtilize SPC techniques as part of the QAS systemOperator performs dimensional checks on the shadow graphTroubleshoots, adjusts equipment, cleans and maintains equipmentMust be able to successfully pass a background and drug screening as a condition of employmentBe able to demonstrate good attendance historyComputer skillsHigh school diploma or equivalent working experience This position starts at $21.45 and is eligible to reach top pay by step progression increasesShift RateMedical/Dental/VisionBasic Life and AD&D with optional life benefitsSupplemental coverages for critical illness, hospital, and accidentPaid vacationPaid holidaysShort and long term disabilitiesPensionCommunity InvolvementEducation ProgramThis positions is from 2pm-10pm Mon-Fri with overtime when neededParker is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer.
