Front Office Support SpecialistThe Front Office Support Specialist is responsible for providing exceptional patient care and daily clinical support for a fast-paced medical practice.Essential Responsibilities:Managing phone calls and messagesScheduling patient appointments in person and over the phoneChecking patients in and outCollecting and verifying patient insurance informationCollecting patient demographic informationCollecting and posting paymentsManaging electronic medical recordsFacilitating correspondence between healthcare organizationsDemonstrate phone etiquette that is accordance with FKP Standards of BehaviorsReview and complete inbox tasks dailyAnswer and handle phone calls swiftly, answer voice mail dailyRespond to patient concerns in accordance with established policies and standardsMaintain cleanliness and supply inventory in lobby and work areasScan medical records and patient documentsManual data entryComplies with all OSHA and HIPPA policies along with all policies and procedures established by FKPDemonstrates behavior that is professional and commensurate with the position and is in accordance with FKP Core Values and Standards of BehaviorsMaintains strict patient and employee confidentialityAttends all mandatory staff meetingsOther routine duties as assignedThis job description is not meant to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of tasks and responsibilities.
