Front Office SupportGeneral AccountabilityThe Front Office Support is responsible for delivering high-quality, service-oriented support to ensure the office operates smoothly and maintains a clean, welcoming and professional environment. This position is a key part in creating a positive experience for employees and visitors by providing timely, courteous, and proactive assistance across a wide range of office and hospitality functions.This role helps maintain shared spaces, supports meetings and events, and responds promptly to office needs. This individual in this role serves as a visible and approachable resource in the office, demonstrating reliability, attentiveness and a strong commitment to service excellence in every interaction.Main ResponsibilitiesGreet and direct visitors in a professional and welcoming mannerProvide Front Desk coverage during breaks, lunch, and as otherwise neededEnsure the reception area and common spaces are tidy, organized, and presentable at all timesSet up and take down the coffee machine each morning and afternoonSet up and take down the popcorn machineAssist with set up and take down of conference rooms before and after meetings and eventsAssist with desk readiness and take-down as neededReceive, sort, and distribute daily mail, packages, and deliveriesMaintain tidiness of conference rooms and common areas (dishwasher, whiteboards, etc.)Monitor the office for spills, wall scuffs, carpet defects, and other maintenance needsRestock breakrooms with drinks, snacks, and supplies, and identify inventory needsAssist employees visiting the office with workstation set upRun errands outside of the office as needed (e.g., food, supplies)Perform scanning, emailing, and filing duties as neededCollaborate with the Office Manager and Front Office Lead to ensure smooth daily operations and an exceptional workplace experienceAdhere to the Compass Company Culture and Core ConvictionsPerform other duties as assigned or requested to support business needsRequirements / QualificationsSkills & Abilities• Welcoming, guest-focused demeanor that creates a positive first impression for employees and guests• Strong teamwork skills, with a confident and collaborative approach to working with others• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with all members of the team, including external partners• Successful experience working in a team environment• Self-starter able to operate effectively with minimal supervision in a highly visible environment• Proficiency with Microsoft (MS) Office Suite• Strong organizational skills, including the ability to scan, email, and file documents as neededPhysical Requirements• Ability to push, pull, lift, and carry up to 25 lbs, with or without reasonable accommodationThis description is intended to reflect the primary functions of the job.However, it is not an all-inclusive listing.Further, the job description is subject to change at the discretion of management.
