Front of House SupervisorThe FOH Supervisor is responsible for how the front-of-house is ran working closely with the General Manager. The ideal team member is dedicated to their fellow team members and to the guests we serve. Our team members must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, have a knack for problem solving and most importantly be committed to having the highest quality standards.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesGreeting customers with a smile and happy demeanor; engage with and understand our customers, including identifying and responding to customer needs through clear and pleasant communicationMaintain complete knowledge of baked goods and the menuSupervise the front-of-how while upholding our standards of excellence and hospitalityEnsure positive guest service in all areas. Respond guests complaints in a professional manner and taking any and all appropriate actions to turn dissatisfied guests into return guestsInform the General Manager of any foreseeable shortages before items run out.Enforce sanitary practices for food handling, general cleanliness, and maintenance dining areas while being compliant with operational standards, company policies, federal/state/local laws, and ordinancesResponsible for ensuring consistent high quality serviceMaintain professional restaurant image, including restaurant cleanliness, proper uniforms, and appearance standardsDevelop employees by providing ongoing feedback and establishing performance expectationsTaking orders from guest and packing all retail items and bread orders carefully and efficientlyRunning food and drinks to customers in a timely fashionRotating stock using the FIFO methodMaintain good attendance and punctualityAvailable to work flexible hours that may include mornings, evenings, weekends, nights and/or holidaysMeet store operating policies and standards, including providing quality beverages and food products, cash handling and store safety and securityPrepare and package food and beverages to our high-quality standard recipes including recipe changes such as temperature, quantity of ingredients or substituted ingredientsAvailable to perform many different tasks within the store during each shiftAdditional duties as assignedRequired Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesAbility to learn quicklyA food handler's and TABC certification where required by local and state health code regulationsAbility to understand and carry out oral and written instructions and request clarification when neededStrong interpersonal skillsAbility to work as part of a teamAbility to build and maintain relationshipsAbility to lift up to 50 lbs.Reports to: General ManagerFLSA Status: Hourly/ Non-exemptTIPS ELIGIBLEWork schedule8 hour shiftWeekend availabilityHolidaysSupplemental payTipsBenefitsFlexible schedulePaid time offHealth insuranceDental insuranceVision insuranceEmployee discountPaid trainingCommon Bond Cafe - Spring 21620 Kuykendahl Rd, Spring, TX 77379, USA
