Front End SupervisorThe Front End Supervisor ensures that the register experience flows well for members and customers. They attend to customer needs while overseeing the cashiers. This role helps with the cleanliness and appeal of the front end.

The Supervisor is also a key holder for the store and is responsible for ensuring that cash is handled appropriately.Reports to Front End ManagerSupervises CashiersPay Level III, full and part-time, must be able to work a weekend day. Work days can start as early as 7:45 AM or go as late as 7:45 PM.Customer ServiceKeeps the check-out flow going smoothly by intervening when cashiers need help, opening extra registers, and answering customer questionsIssue credits to customers for returned items and ensure returns are processed properlyResolve customer questions and complaints as they ariseHelps enter new members into the databaseAnswers questions about membershipStoreKeep boxes organized and grocery bags well- stockedKeep the front of the store swept and tidy as needed throughout the day.Answer phone calls and check messages on the customer service extensionTroubleshoots basic issues with the POS systemCloses the front end at the end of the day, including counting drawersStaff and Employee SupportOverseeing the breaks for cashiers to ensure everyone gets the time they need to take care of themselves, while keeping the front end running smoothlyEnsures register and front-end supplies are stockedCommunicates price changes, specials, and changes in policies and procedures to all cashiersOversees and directs tasks and projects for cashiers when there are no customers to check out, to encourage productivityAssist the manager in providing appropriate feedback to their staff.Desired Skills2 years of experience working in a retail environmentWell-developed, warm, friendly, and outgoing customer service skillsAble to solve problems independently and in collaboration with othersExcellent written and verbal communication skills
