Job TitleTechnical Skills Required:• 5+ years professional experience in software development. Proven ability to take a project from scoping requirements through actual launch.• Proficiency in Chevron’s software development lifecycle and best practices, e.g., using of repos, committing code protocols necessary.• +3 years' experience with JavaScript / NodeJS• Experience with cloud environments (Azure) and microservices• Experience with containers (such as Docker or Kubernetes)• Experience with developer tools and SDKs, VS Code, Eclipse / IntelliJ, or other IDEs (Integrated Development Environment)• Solid understanding of object-oriented design, functional programming, data structures, and algorithms• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively (verbal & written).• Excellent communication and analytical skills.• Proficient in the SAFE Agile development practice• +3 years' experience with Angular preferred• Adept to peer programming• Experience with GraphQL, a plus• Experience with Python, a plusFunctional Skills Required:• Understand the customer problem, and work with engineers, data scientists, and other team members to design, test, and implement the best solution• Ensure your features functions and integrate properly with other components• Manage deliverables and responsibilities with guidance from the dev lead• Effectively prioritize activities and manage time based on requests coming from multiple sources• Evaluate the benefits and disadvantages of different tools, technologies, processes, and designs and make recommendations to the team for discussion and action• Demonstrates excellent communication skills as customer facing interaction is key to the success of the project team.• Participates and provides a point of view on sizing level of effort and viability of user stories working with the PO.• Self-learner, eager to understand how things work and learn them quicklyTeam players is important – Heads upBe willing to pick up anythingInterview process –Bring some of the developers into the interview process.
