Front End DeveloperLocation: New York, NY Duration: 12 MonthsSeeking backend individual contributor role and front end. This is not a manager position or analyst position. Need someone who can get their hands dirty with code/troubleshooting. 5-10 years of experience. At least 2-3 years of that in Java.
Backend experience strongly preferred, no frontend only devs (Angular, React, JS, TS, etc). SQL proficiency. 3-5 years experience. Needs to have a solid grasp of more complex SQL operations see if they can mention any of the following when probing about SQL: CTE, query plans, troubleshooting, indexes, etc. Some finance experience or equivalent environment.
Not for finance-specific knowledge. We need someone who can handle the highly regulated, high-pressure environment that is not very developer friendly. Familiarity with all the processes, red tape, auditory/compliance parts of the job that get in the way of the actual work. Some infrastructure experience. CI/CD – Jenkins, github actions, urbancode, etc.
AWS – S3, SQS, SSM, KMS, etc. Communication skills. Able to explain something technical in layman's terms. Personable and easy to work with.
