Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Front-End Data Engineer to support a federal program focused on enterprise business intelligence, analytics, and reporting solutions within the national security and defense sector. This position is on-site in Norfolk, VA . The Front-End Data Engineer will transform enterprise data into actionable dashboards, reports, and visualizations while partnering closely with backend data engineering teams. Responsibilities for the Front-End Data Engineer include:
- Develop and maintain enterprise Power BI dashboards, reports, and data visualizations
- Translate complex data into meaningful business insights for stakeholders
- Collaborate with backend data engineers to leverage data pipelines and repositories
- Validate, analyze, and optimize reporting datasets for accuracy and performance
- Support enterprise reporting initiatives and business intelligence strategies
Required Qualifications for the Front-End Data Engineer include:
- 3-4 years of experience in Data Engineering, Business Intelligence, or Data Analytics
- Strong Power BI development and enterprise reporting experience
- Experience working with SQL databases and understanding backend data pipelines
- Knowledge of data transformation, staging, aggregation, and reporting best practices
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Active Secret Clearance required
- Security+ Certification (IAT Level II) required
Compensation for the Front-End Data Engineer includes:
- Salary Range: ~$100,000 depending on experience
