Front Desk / Over Night Auditor

Night AuditorCanopy by Hilton Downtown Ithaca is seeking a detail-oriented, dependable Night Auditor to join our front desk team. The Night Auditor is responsible for providing excellent guest service, balancing daily financial transactions, and ensuring a smooth transition between business days. If you thrive in a quiet, structured environment and enjoy both guest interaction and behind-the-scenes work, this role is for you.Key Responsibilities:Greet and assist late-night guests with check-ins, check-outs, and room inquiriesAudit and balance hotel daily revenue reports, transactions, food and beverage and POS systemsPrepare and distribute daily reports for managementPerform end-of-day procedures, including reconciling and posting accountsMonitor property security and guest safety during overnight hoursRespond promptly to guest requests, complaints, or emergenciesComplete front desk duties such as answering phones, processing payments, and maintaining recordsEnsure lobby and front desk areas are clean and organizedQualifications:Previous experience in hospitality, accounting, or front desk preferredStrong attention to detail and math skillsProficient with hotel management systems (e.g., Opera, PMS, PEP or similar) benefit but not requiredExcellent customer service and communication skillsAbility to work independently and handle overnight responsibilitiesHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredBenefits:Competitive hourly payPaid time off and holidaysEmployee discounts on hotel staysHealth, dental, and vision insurance (for eligible employees)Opportunities for advancement within our companyDepending on candidate this position could be Full Time or Part Time.Baywood Hotels is an equal opportunity employer.
