Hotel Front Desk Agent / AuditorWe are looking for a dynamic Hotel Front Desk Agent / Auditor to serve as our guests' first point of contact and manage all aspects of their accommodation. Hotel Front Desk Agent / Auditor responsibilities include registering guests, managing reservations, and providing information about rooms, rates, and amenities. If you have a knack for customer service and have work experience in the hotel industry, we'd like to meet you.
Ultimately, you will help create a pleasant and memorable stay for our guests. We are looking for a flexible person; there is no set schedule. We need a Front Desk Agent/Auditor who can work any shift asked of them, which includes: Sunday - Saturday7am-3pm3pm-11pm11pm - 7am (sometimes) Responsibilities Perform all check-in and check-out tasksManage online and phone reservationsInform customers about payment methods and verify their credit card dataRegister guests collecting necessary information (like contact details and exact dates of their stay)Welcome guests upon their arrival and assign roomsMaintains customers' privacyProvide information about our hotel, available rooms, rates, and amenitiesRespond to clients' complaints in a timely and professional mannerLiaise with our housekeeping staff to ensure all rooms are clean, tidy, and fully-furnished to accommodate guests' needsKnows daily activities and meetings taking place in the hotel.
Upsell additional facilities and services, when appropriateMaintain updated records of bookings and paymentsReports any unusual occurrences or requests to the Front Office Manager or General ManagerManages and resolves all guest complaints in a professional and courteous mannerPerforms other duties as assignedPerforms cleaning duties Skills Work experience as a Hotel Front Desk Agent, Receptionist or similar role preferredExperience with the hotel reservation software OperaExperience with Gmail, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel)Ability to understand and adhere to proper credit card and cash handling policies and procedures.
