We're looking for an experienced 4PL Broker to join our growing transportation team. You'll bring 3-5 years of brokerage experience, strong carrier procurement skills, and the ability to build lasting carrier relationships, all while working closely with our asset-based trucking operations to maximize capacity.

Key Responsibilities
- Source, negotiate, and secure transportation capacity for customer freight using DAT, Truckstop, and other load boards.
- Vet and onboard carriers, verifying DOT authority, insurance, safety ratings, and operating credentials.
- Manage shipments from pickup through delivery, proactively communicating status and resolving service issues.
- Negotiate carrier rates while hitting profitability targets.
- Collaborate with asset-based operations to maximize equipment utilization.
- Maintain accurate records in the TMS.
- Build strong relationships with customers, carriers, and internal teams.
Qualifications
Required
- 3+ years of experience in freight brokerage, 3PL, or 4PL operations.
- Proficiency with load boards (DAT, Truckstop), and TMS platforms.
- Working knowledge of DOT/FMCSA compliance, carrier safety standards, and onboarding processes.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred
- Experience in an asset-based trucking environment.
- Knowledge of drayage, truckload, LTL, and multimodal transportation.
- Existing carrier relationships and network.
