Actual pay will be based on various factors, such as a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, proficiency for the role, and internal equity. In addition to base pay, Kwik Trip gives 40% of pre-tax profits back to our coworkers with bonuses ranging from 8-12% of each coworker's gross annual wage depending on company profitability and offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, 401k, paid time off, and more.
Our state-of-the-art Bakery department located in La Crosse, WI produces over 60 varieties of sweet good and bread products for our 800 retail stores. Kwik Trip customers are able to enjoy everything from our famous Glazer donuts to our mouth-watering muffins, turnovers, bagels, and cookies.
Join the Warehouse area of our Bakery as a Freezer Material Handler where you will be trained to accurately select and load our Bakery products to be shipped to our retail stores.
Prior order selector, power pallet jack, and narrow aisle reach lift experience is a plus.
Work Schedule: Sunday through Saturday with rotating days off working 1:30pm to 11:30pm (potential for mandatory overtime)
Qualifications:
- Adhere to sanitation/hygiene standards
- Basic math aptitude
- Read/understand/interpret numbers
- Willing to learn/perform a variety of job tasks
- Work in a fast paced production environment
- Work in a noisy environment frequently
- Work in -20 - 90+ degree F temperatures
- Work well alone/with others
- Accurate/detail oriented; work in a safety conscious environment
Benefits:
- Starting rate of pay: $19.53 per hour (additional premiums - Freezer Premium of $1.00 per hour and Overnight Premium Pay of $3.00 per hour for part of the shift)
- Weekend Premium Pay: additional $3.00 an hour between the hours of 7:30pm Friday and 5:00am Monday
- A year end cash bonus - 40% of profits shared with our coworkers
