Freelance Producer

Walking Shadows Productions is expanding our freelance production team.

We’re looking for an experienced Freelance Producer  who can step into complex storytelling and branded-content projects and help drive them from planning through delivery.

This is not a reactive coordinator role. We’re looking for someone proactive, highly organized, calm under pressure, and comfortable taking real ownership of a project.

You would work directly with our Creative Director and serve as a key bridge between creative, client, crew, vendors, and logistics.

Typical responsibilities may include:

• Managing production schedules, budgets, scopes, and deliverables
• Coordinating crews, locations, travel, permits, vehicles, talent, and vendors
• Communicating directly with clients and keeping projects moving
• Anticipating problems before they become production challenges
• Supporting pre-production strategy and production planning
• Taking ownership of projects through prep, production, post-production, and client delivery

Our work on commercial projects spans brand storytelling, nonprofit and mission-driven films, and large-scale meeting/event content.

We’re especially interested in producers who have experience managing sophisticated client relationships, executive or organizational stakeholders, detailed production budgets, multi-day location shoots, and complex logistics.

We are looking for a true professional who brings commitment, focus, sound judgment, and dynamic thinking to their work.

This is a freelance, contracted position.

Scheduling is flexible. Compensation is commensurate with experience and negotiable on a project or hourly basis.
