Our client, a well-known spirits brand is looking to hire two freelancers to start ASAP. They want people who are able to create optimize content so their brands show up better in AI answers from tools like ChatGPT, Google AI and Gemini.
Experience within the spirits industry is highly preferred. Food and beverage experience will also be considered.
Scope
- Rewrite and expand brand website copy: product pages, FAQs, cocktail and occasion pages, buying guides
- Write product copy for retailer and e-commerce listings, and briefing copy for publisher and PR content
- Work across the US portfolio
- Agree copy with brand teams, PR and Digital Commerce, and route claims through Legal and Compliance
Experience
- 4–7 years of copywriting, ideally in spirits, beverage alcohol, food and drink, or premium consumer brands
- Proven SEO content writing; experience with AI-search optimization (GEO/AEO) is a strong plus
- Comfortable writing in several brand voices and turning data and briefs into clear, factual copy
- Experience with product and e-commerce copy, and with working inside a CMS such as WordPress
- Familiarity with regulated-category marketing and responsible drinking standards
Working setup
- On-site or remote, US-based, with overlap on Eastern time
- Close to full-time for the 6 months
