In this role, you will be responsible for designing, writing, testing, implementing, supporting, and documenting solutions for assigned programs and applications across the organization. You welcome a challenge and want to provide next level experiences to every individual that uses our systems.What you’ll do:Design, write, test, implement, and document solutions for assigned program modulesCollaborate with and provide technical advice to Product Owners, Business Analysts, and lines of business to estimate level-of-effort, timing, and feasibility, to design new systems based on business requirements, and to optimize system and program functionalityReview coding for a group of software engineers to ensure alignment with business needs, change control procedures, and Frost development standardsBuild integrations for Financial Crimes/Fraud solutions, including designing, developing, and testing integrationsPartner with vendors and technology solutions providers to integrate and automate Financial Crimes technology solutionsBe a self-starter with ability to maintain a sense of urgency to deliver projects with collaborative agilityPerform production support and facilitate continuous improvement of system reliability and efficiencyDocument procedures, system designs, and architectural diagrams and estimate level-of-effort for designing/coding new systems/interfacesWork with Enterprise Information Security teams and vendors to analyze and remediate security vulnerabilities with applications, OS, etc.Perform root cause analysis (RCA) of issuesAlways take action using Integrity, Caring, and Excellence to achieve all-win outcomesWhat you’ll need:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, in a related field, or equivalent experienceDemonstrated ability to independently identify issues across interrelated programs and systems and develop the appropriate solutions, typically requiring a minimum of 4 years of experienceStrong understanding of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures associated with programmingDemonstrated experience with scripting languages (Python, Perl, Powershell)2+ Experience with MS SQL, Oracle, or PostgresExperience developing integration, middleware, SOAP and REST web services and/or APIsUnderstanding of the Fraud landscape for various services (Online banking retail & commercial), Digital account opening, Wires, ACH, and Instant payments (RTP & Zelle)Additional Preferred Skills:Familiarity with multiple types of Fraud: Check, Account Take Over, Credential TestingExperience with Payment systems: ACI/Wire, Fiserv/PEP+, ACI/Base24Experience with Fraud prevention and & Identity assurance systems: Featurespace, PING Identity/Federation, RSA Adaptive Authentication, RSA transaction monitoringFamiliarity with concepts used in defenses like device fingerprints, onetime passwords and anomalous behavioral detectionFamiliar with AI and ML technologiesKnowledge of Windows OS including shell scripting, performance monitoring, and optimizationKnowledge of web vulnerabilitiesFamiliarity with Agile SDLC practicesExperience in Financial InstitutionOur Benefits:Medical, dental, vision, long-term, and life insurance401(k) matchingGenerous holiday and paid time off scheduleTuition reimbursementExtensive health and wellness programs, including our Employee Assistance ProgramReferral bonus program + more!Since 1868, Frost has dedicated their expertise to provide exceptional banking, investment, and insurance services to businesses and individuals throughout Texas.
