Fraud Lead - Consumer Lending

As a full-time remote Fraud Lead - Consumer Lending, the candidate will architect and implement fraud prevention strategies for the Send Now Pay Later product, ensuring the security and profitability of lending operations while collaborating with cross-functional teams. Key responsibilities Design and refine fraud typologies for the WhatsApp conversational lending ecosystem Own and analyze repayment fraud, identity spoofing, and chargeback analytics to proactively mitigate risks Drive accountability for core fraud metrics across the lending vertical without hindering conversion Required qualifications 4-5+ years of experience in Fraud Risk Strategy and Prevention within consumer lending or related fintech sectors Advanced skills in SQL and data manipulation, with proficiency in Python/R or BI visualization tools Experience with decision engines and deploying machine learning risk models in live environments Strong understanding of emerging fraud attack vectors and experience in threat detection using data and OSINT techniques Ability to communicate complex fraud patterns and metrics to cross-functional teams and executives
