Serving as the senior information security and compliance leader, the full-time remote Fractional Chief Information Security Officer will manage cybersecurity and compliance programs for multiple client organizations while overseeing SGP's internal security initiatives. Key responsibilities Act as the outsourced CISO for various client organizations, providing strategic security leadership and guidance Lead compliance programs aligned with industry standards such as NIST SP 800-171 and ISO/IEC 27001, conducting assessments and developing necessary documentation Oversee incident response planning and security operations, while delivering executive reporting and coordinating security awareness training Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, information technology, risk management, or a related field, or equivalent experience At least 8 years of information security experience, including senior leadership roles such as Security Director or CISO Hands-on expertise with compliance frameworks including NIST SP 800-171, CMMC, and ISO/IEC 27001 Proven ability to manage multiple client engagements and produce strong technical documentation Relevant industry certifications are strongly preferred, though not required
