Apply now!Frac Plug Assembler Responsibilities:- Assemble composite frac plugs according to engineering drawings, work instructions, and specifications- Inspect components for defects, damage, and dimensional accuracy before assembly- Utilize hand tools, power tools, torque equipment, and measuring instruments during the assembly process- Perform quality checks on assembled products- Maintain accurate production records and complete required documentation- Ensure compliance with company quality standards, safety policies, and manufacturing procedures- Identify and report non-conforming materials, equipment issues, or process deviations- Assist with inventory control, material handling, and organization of work areas- Maintain a clean and safe work environment- Collaborate with supervisors, quality personnel, and team members to meet production goals and deadlinesRequirements for Frac Plug Assembler:- High school diploma or GED preferred- Previous manufacturing, assembly, oilfield equipment, or mechanical experience preferred- Ability to read and interpret work orders and technical documents- Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand and power tools- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship- Ability to work independently and as part of a team- Basic computer skills for production tracking and documentation- Ability to stand for extended periods during shifts- Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing up to 25 pounds- Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and perform repetitive hand movements- Ability to work in a manufacturing or warehouse environment with exposure to noise and industrial equipment- Mechanical assembly experience desired- Knowledge of oilfield completion tools and hydraulic fracturing equipment is a plus- Quality control and inspection experience preferred- Forklift or material handling experience (optional)- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilitiesAbout Us:QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
