Job Title: Senior FP&A Consultant – Strategic Financial Transformation Expert

Overview:

We are seeking a high-caliber Senior FP&A Consultant to lead a critical initiative for a dynamic organization transitioning from departmental budgeting to a comprehensive, enterprise-wide governance model. Required Skills:

  • 12+ years of progressive experience in enterprise financial planning & analysis, with at least 3 years in senior leadership (Sr. Director/VP) roles
  • Expertise in financial data analysis, long-term planning, scenario modeling, and P&L management
  • Proven experience guiding organizations through major financial transformations, including restructuring budgets and implementing governance models
  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling, data-driven assumptions, and developing executive-level presentations
  • Exceptional stakeholder facilitation skills, capable of leading high-level discussions and managing complex negotiations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to develop content for executive review
  • Resilient, proactive, and adaptable with a can-do attitude and attention to detail

Nice to Have Skills:

  • Prior consulting experience with firms like Deloitte, PwC, or Accenture
  • Healthcare or banking industry experience (5+ years), especially within medical centers or financial institutions
  • Certification in finance or project/program management (e.g., PMP, CFA, CPA)
  • Experience with change management frameworks and program delivery across multiple workstreams

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • MBA or similar advanced degree in Finance, Accounting, or related fields
  • Demonstrated success in leading financial transformation projects within complex organizations
  • A track record of working closely with C-level executives, including CFOs and other senior leaders

Other Requirements:

  • Location: Primarily remote, with the possibility of 1 on-site visit per month or quarter to Los Angeles (expenses covered by client)
  • Duration: Initial 6-month contract, with the potential to extend into July 2027
  • Hours: 40 hours per week
  • Start Date: Mid-August 2026
  • Must have excellent project management skills and the ability to manage risks across multiple workstreams
