We are looking for an FP&A Manager, Strategy to work for our client. The ideal candidate aligns with the responsibilities and qualifications outlined below.

Our client is seeking a high-potential finance professional to join their organization as an FP&A Manager, Strategy. This role is designed for a strategic thinker who can connect financial insights to business decisions and help drive long-term growth initiatives. The position offers significant visibility to executive leadership and a defined career trajectory toward a Business Unit CFO role within approximately 5-6 years.

Responsibilities

  • Lead financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes for assigned business units.
  • Develop strategic financial models and business case analyses to support growth initiatives.
  • Partner with executive leadership to evaluate business performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Analyze financial trends, key performance indicators, and operational results to drive strategic decision-making.
  • Prepare executive-level presentations and recommendations for senior leadership.
  • Support long-range planning and corporate strategy initiatives.
  • Evaluate investments, acquisitions, and capital allocation opportunities.
  • Enhance financial reporting, forecasting accuracy, and planning processes.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, accounting, sales, and business leaders.
  • Assist in developing future finance talent and best practices across the organization.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Big 4 public accounting experience is highly preferred.
  • Candidates transitioning from public accounting into industry are strongly encouraged to apply.
  • CPA certification preferred.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in public accounting, corporate finance, FP&A, transaction advisory, or related disciplines.
  • Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical skills.
  • Experience presenting financial data and recommendations to leadership teams.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.
  • Strong business acumen and strategic mindset.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
