About Us
Office Hours is an on-demand expert network that connects leading organizations with trusted experts across various knowledge domains. Experts earn income by sharing their knowledge through advisory work, projects, and AI model training. Our platform handles the complexities behind the scenes— screening, compliance, scheduling, and payments—so knowledge sharing stays focused on meaningful insights and real impact.
We’re a hyper-growth and profitable company, quickly expanding our expert network, launching new offices, and new products. We are headquartered in San Francisco, with offices in Brooklyn and Bangalore. Our customers include the fastest-growing digital health companies, technology companies, institutional investment firms, consulting firms and AI Labs. We are backed by top marketplace investors and operators of companies like DoorDash, Airbnb, and Airbnb? Actually “Affirm.”
What we believe
Human knowledge is the world’s most valuable asset. And yet, despite being more interconnected than ever, most knowledge still remains stuck in our heads, inaccessible and underutilized. Our vision is to make human knowledge easily accessible and infinitely scalable by building tools for the new age knowledge economy.
About the role
We're looking for a Founding Head of Marketing to build our marketing function from the ground up, setting the strategy and rolling up their sleeves to bring it to life. Reporting to and working directly with the CEO, this person will translate what we've built, what we believe, and where we're going into a compelling narrative that resonates with our market and builds momentum with clients and experts alike.
You’ll own the full arc from strategy to execution: defining our messaging and positioning, building the assets and content that bring our story to life, developing the playbooks and campaigns that amplify it, and continuously learning from the market to sharpen our approach. As our first senior marketing leader, you'll establish not only what we say and how we go to market, but the foundation for how the marketing function operates and scales as the company grows.
The right person has been an early marketer at a high-growth, early-stage company and knows what it means to wear many hats. You're looking for a role where you can have an outsized impact on the trajectory of the business, and you're energized by the chance to build a new function from a blank slate and shape how it evolves as the company grows.
What you’ll do
-
Own positioning and product marketing. Partner closely with the CEO to sharpen our core narrative, including the "why Office Hours, why now" story, and translate it into a clear, consistent story across Sales, CS, Product, and the customer experience. Stay close to the market and competitive landscape, using what you know and learn to continuously sharpen how we position the company.
-
Develop core marketing and sales assets. Create and maintain the foundational materials that bring our positioning to life, including our master sales deck, ICP-specific one-pagers, pricing collateral, category overviews, and website content. Build them from the ground up and establish a cadence for keeping them sharp and current.
-
Build and run our content
