_*Become a Licensed Foster Parent*_ *Shining Star Community Services* is looking for caring and compassionate individuals and families who are interested in becoming *licensed foster families* and making a positive difference in the lives of youth in our community. We provide guidance and support throughout the foster care licensing process, including: * Assistance completing the licensing requirements.
* Home inspection and home study support.
* Ongoing support and resources for foster families.
* Training and guidance to help you feel prepared.
* Opportunities to provide a safe, stable, and supportive home for children in need. If you have a caring heart, a safe home, and are ready to make a difference, we would love to help you get started on your foster care licensing journey. Candidates must be: * At least 21 years of age
* Able to pass a background clearance
* Be flexible and open-minded
* Be able to complete all trainings provided by Shining Star
* Able to maintain a home which meets basic safety, fire code and foster care regulations
* Able to transport child to services and activities
* Provide a safe, appropriate, and supportive environment *Become a foster parent. Change a child's story.* Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $1,500.00 per month Benefits:
