You will develop software and provide high-quality support for systems that are critical to solving the government's greatest challenges — across environments that range from commercial cloud to classified government networks.Palantir believes engineering teams should be responsible for the production systems they build. You will work closely with forward deployed and product teams on systems design, and share responsibility with them in diagnosing, resolving, and preventing production issues. If you want to operate real infrastructure at the intersection of software engineering and national security, this is that role.What You'll DoHandle support and operations of Palantir software including monitoring and alerting, configuration management, and upgradesDeploy new Palantir products at customer deployments and perform migrations to the latest infrastructure typesDebug, improve, and optimize Palantir's services and infrastructure with a focus on long-term reliability and scalabilityReduce manual operations by automating workflows, processes, and runbooks wherever possibleProvide technical troubleshooting support for production issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal operational impactParticipate in a support on-call scheduleYou Should HaveStrong software engineering foundation with experience operating production infrastructureExperience with configuration management, monitoring, alerting, and systems operationsComfort working across cloud and on-prem environmentsAbility to automate and reduce toil through scripting and toolingEligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S.
