I’m working with an exceptionally fast-growing YC-backed applied AI startup looking for its first Forward Deployed Engineer.

This is a rare opportunity to join at the ground floor of a company that has already reached multi-million-dollar ARR, while remaining an incredibly lean engineering team.

You’ll work directly with the founders and customers to scope, build and deploy production AI systems tackling complex real-world problems across industries including fintech, healthcare, trust & safety and consumer.

What you’ll own:

→ Lead customer deployments end-to-end — from identifying the problem to shipping the solution

→ Build production-grade AI products across voice AI, multimodal agents and agentic workflows

→ Work directly with executives, operators and end users

→ Ship quickly and continuously expand deployments as customers scale

→ Have significant influence over the technical and commercial direction of the company

Looking for:

• 3+ years of strong software engineering experience

• Excellent engineering fundamentals — Python / TypeScript highly relevant

• Strong product instincts and customer empathy

• Comfortable operating with significant autonomy in a fast-moving environment

• Genuine fluency with modern AI tooling and workflows

• Someone excited by the intersection of engineering × AI × customers

This is particularly compelling for engineers who want Palantir-style FDE ownership in a much earlier-stage environment — where you’re not just implementing software, you’re helping shape the company.
