Forms & Records Analyst 1 (Non-permanent classified paid hourly)Under general supervision of the Forms Designer, the Forms & Records Analyst 1 (Forms Designer 1) will provide assistance in all phases of manual, electronic and/or automated forms control, and records management. The Forms Designer 1 will follow established guidelines and perform tasks that are routine in nature and require the use of standard filing and indexing systems and related equipment and supplies. Decision-making authority is limited to choice of established methods or procedures, and guidance is provided for new or unusual situations. The Forms Designer 1 will maintain the integrity of the Spokane Colleges forms management system and professional graphic standards.This is a non-permanent classified paid hourly position. Not to exceed 18 months.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESParticipates in designing and revising manual and electronic/automated forms, layouts and screens; processes forms orders; and assists with maintaining forms inventory; *Assists in the transmittal, migration, reformatting, and disposition of records; *Assists higher level staff with the retrieval and inputting of information into records; *Provides clerical and technical support to higher level records management staff; *May identify potential applications of electronic, automated, and/or imaging technology and assist in performing analysis to determine the feasibility and/or benefits of converting information to alternative formats.Design and coordinate production of forms that require printing.

*Model professional decorum and mutual respect in all personal interactions. *Complies with district policy, procedures and directives, state and federal regulations, orders and statute and collective bargaining agreements. *Support and advance the Spokane Colleges strategic plan and perform related duties as required. ** Indicates this is an essential duty.COMPETENCIESAction OrientedResourcefulnessNimble LearningTech SavvyCollaboratesMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSHigh school graduation or equivalent.Experience creating and designing forms, including concept, layout and proper use of graphics.Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office programs.Excellent spelling, grammar and sentence structure.Excellent verbal communication, listening and interpersonal relationship skills.Familiarity with printing processes.Commitment to learning and applying best practices to ensure electronic and technology work products and tools are accessible to all people, including those with disabilities.DESIRED QUALIFICATIONSAssociate degree in business administration, accounting, industrial engineering, or a related field.Two years of experience in forms and/or records management.Experience designing documents for publication, including organizational structure, layout and proper use of fonts.Experience working in higher education marketing and communications.General knowledge of Spokane Colleges, Spokane Community College and Spokane Falls Community College.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSWork is sedentary in nature.Frequent use of computer and exposure to terminal screens.CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENTNon-permanent classified paid hourly position. Not to exceed 18 months.Work schedule will be determined by the supervisor.This position is overtime eligible.Criminal background check is required.This position is covered under a collective bargaining agreement.
