Pay Rate/Range: $16.50/hr
Description:
- Safely operate forklifts and other powered industrial trucks (sit-down, reach truck, or pallet jack as assigned).
- Load and unload inbound and outbound trailers while preventing product damage.
- Move, stage, and store materials in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick customer orders accurately using RF scanners or warehouse management systems.
- Verify product quantities, labels, lot numbers, and shipping documentation.
- Perform inventory movements, cycle counts, and assist with inventory accuracy initiatives.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment following 5S and housekeeping standards.
- Follow OSHA regulations and all WIT Logistics safety policies and procedures.
- Assist with shipping, receiving, replenishment, and other warehouse duties as needed.
- Meet productivity, quality, and attendance expectations while working independently and as part of a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous forklift operating experience in a warehouse or distribution environment preferred.
- Ability to become forklift certified or maintain current certification.
- Experience using RF scanners or warehouse management systems is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to inventory accuracy.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Dependable with excellent attendance and punctuality.
Job Type: Temp-to-Hire
Shift/Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm
