What You'll Do
- Operate a stand-up forklift to move materials throughout the warehouse
- Load and unload inbound and outbound shipments
- Use RF scanners to track inventory and warehouse movements
- Stage, organize, and prepare materials for shipping
- Perform basic equipment inspections before and after use
- Follow safety procedures and warehouse operating standards
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds when needed
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the entire shift
- Basic reading, counting, and computer skills
- Ability to work overtime as scheduled
- Reliable transportation and attendance
- Ability to work safely in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Previous warehouse experience
- Previous forklift experience
- Experience using RF scanners
- Experience loading and unloading trailers
Work Environment
- Large distribution and warehouse facility
- Fast-paced logistics environment
- Frequent walking, standing, bending, and reaching
- Regular forklift and equipment traffic throughout the facility
- Moderate warehouse noise levels
- Safety vests, steel-toe footwear, and other PPE may be required
- Overtime may be mandatory during peak production periods
