Job Duties

• Operate forklifts to transport raw materials and finished products throughout the facility
• Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently
• Move inventory between warehouse and production areas
• Stage materials to support daily production schedules
• Complete pre-shift forklift inspections
• Follow GMP, food safety, quality, and workplace safety procedures

Must-Have Requirements

• Previous forklift operating experience required
• Ability to safely load, unload, and transport materials
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds when necessary
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and move throughout the shift
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
• Ability to follow all GMP, food safety, and workplace procedures

Preferred Qualifications

• Manufacturing experience
• Warehouse experience
• GMP experience
• High school diploma or equivalent

Work Environment

• Food manufacturing facility
• Fast-paced production environment
• Combination of forklift operation and manual material handling
• Frequent walking and movement throughout the facility
• PPE required in designated work areas
• Overtime may be required based on production demands
• Must maintain food safety and sanitation standards at all times
