Job Description Job Description Job Summary Maiers Transport & Warehousing has a full time warehouse position available immediately. We are looking for a forklift operator to move pallets and material around our facilities.
You will be operating a forklift with the utmost care to ensure efficiency and safety. The position includes driving around warehouses & outdoor spaces. You must be a responsible individual & have experience in driving forklifts is required. Skilled use of clamp trucks & oversized outdoor forklift is preferred as well as experience with unloading/unloading cardboard.
Applicant must be self-motivated & have the ability to complete paperwork accurately. Personal vehicle required.
Hours are Monday thru Friday, 7am to 3:30pm with flexibility for vacation coverage.

Responsibilities
- Loading & unloading van trailers, flatbed trailers, shipping containers & railcars.
- Move pallets and crates from one location to another
- Monitor products for damages, shortages, or quality control issues and report on those issues
- Perform regular inspections and maintenance of machinery to ensure optimal operation
- Maintain accurate inventory records and activity logs
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, legal guidelines, and company policies
- Assist in maintaining a safe and organized work environment
- Previous experience as a Forklift Operator is preferred
- Valid forklift certification
- High school diploma/GED
- Familiarity with and ability to use industrial equipment
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including lifting heavy objects
- Excellent hand-eye coordination
