Description
We are seeking full time experienced Forklift Operators with engine rack handling experience to join our team. This role requires the ability to safely operate a forklift while handling and stacking automotive racks using proper alignment techniques.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down forklift to move materials throughout the facility
- Load, unload, and transport automotive parts and racks
- Stack and align engine racks using guide pins (rack-to-rack alignment required)
- Ensure racks are properly positioned, secured, and stable
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
Qualifications
- Previous forklift experience required (sit-down preferred)
- MUST have experience stacking and aligning racks with pins (engine rack / dunnage / returnable container experience)
- Ability to follow directions and work independently
- Strong attention to detail and safety
- Reliable attendance and punctuality is REQUIRED
- Ability to lift, push, and maneuver materials as needed
- Must be able to work in a manufacturing/industrial environment
