Job Overview
FORKLIFT OPERATOR
LOCATION: WATERLOO, IA
WAGE: $19
SHIFT: 2nd and 3rd Shift
Main duties
-
Load and unload trucks safely
-
Move inventory throughout the warehouse using forklifts and other powered equipment
-
Pick and stage materials for shipment
-
Scan and track inventory
-
Follow warehouse safety procedures and PPE requirements
-
Keep work areas clean and organized
-
Help maintain productivity and shipping accuracy
Equipment used
-
Sit-down forklifts
-
Stand-up forklifts
-
Reach trucks/order pickers (depending on department)
Requirements
-
Forklift experience preferred
-
Ability to lift 40–50 lbs regularly
-
Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse
-
Basic computer/scanner skills helpful
-
Good attendance and teamwork
-
Ability to pass background/drug screening if required
