Forklift OperatorThe forklift operator will support production, and shipping/receiving operations by operating different types of forklifts such as G-5 Royal T-250, Hester Spacesaver, CAT T-50, and sit-down.Essential Job Functions:Load trucks with finished sheet metalLoad cut sheet material onto platforms for dispatch through the manufacturing linesPrepare finished goods for transfer to other departmentsRemove coil loads and other materials from trucks as they are deliveredTransport unfinished and finished product throughout the plant and supply the production lines with raw materialsEmpty scrap tubs of metal wasteAssist in taking inventory and prepare orders for shipment as neededJob Requirements:Ability to demonstrate forklift driving experience and pass the certification test if not already certifiedExperience/Education:High school diploma or equivalentExperience in a manufacturing facility6 months-2 years of forklift driving work experience in a manufacturing/warehouse environmentPhysical Requirements:Ability to kneel, stoop, crawl, squat, and stand for extended period, while running machinery up to 12 hoursAbility to lift, push or pull up to 50 poundsApply now to launch your manufacturing career with one of the largest producers of metal food containers in the United States!
