Forklift Operator/Material HandlerWe are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Material Handler/Forklift Operator to join our team in Bolingbrook, IL. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe operation of forklifts and other material handling equipment to support warehouse and distribution activities. The ideal candidate will have experience moving, storing, receiving, and shipping materials while maintaining a strong commitment to safety, efficiency, and quality.

This position requires knowledge of warehouse operations, logistics, supply chain processes, material management, and transportation procedures to ensure business and customer requirements are met.Shifts available: 1st Shift Schedule: 6:00AM – 2:30PM; Pay rate $20.50/hr Schedule: 1:00PM – 9:30PM; Pay rate $21.75/hrResponsibilities:Safely operate forklifts, hand trucks, dollies, and other material handling equipment.Receive, process, store, move, and ship parts, materials, equipment, and supplies.Load and unload trailers while ensuring safe entry and exit procedures.Transport materials throughout the facility in a safe and efficient manner.Maintain awareness of designated safety zones and ensure the safety of all personnel in the work area.Verify quantities, part numbers, destinations, and shipment timelines using source documents.Utilize equipment for weighing, banding, wrapping, and packaging materials.Perform routine equipment inspections and basic servicing as required.Follow company safety policies, warehouse procedures, and quality standards.Assist with inventory control and material tracking activities.Support team operations and perform other duties as assigned by managementDesired Background/Skills:Must have previous forklift experienceAbility to safely operate powered industrial equipmentFrequent walking, standing, bending, reaching, and stoopingAbility to lift, lower, push, and pull materials of varying weightsAbility to work at heights up to 20 feetAbility to work in warehouse environments with changing temperaturesAbility to perform physically demanding tasks throughout the shiftAbility to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and safetyPrevious warehouse, material handling, logistics, or forklift experience preferredStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsGood verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamDon't miss out on this excellent opportunity to join a hardworking, supportive team- apply with us today to get started!
