Forklift Operator / Material Handler, 2nd ShiftHickory, NC | Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM$19.00/hr base + $2.00/hr shift differential = $21.00/hr Sign-On Bonus, Up to $1,500 $500 after 60 days, $1,000 after 120 daysWhat You'll DoSupply the production lines with raw materials, including resins and packagingMove finished goods, materials, equipment, and scrap throughout the plantHandload bag trailers as neededManage inventory using scan guns and perform cycle countsOperate a forklift with box clamps safely in areas with foot trafficWork with operators, packers, and leads across every line and shiftLearn additional equipment and responsibilities through our training progressionWhat You BringForklift or tow motor experience. Comfort with box clamp attachments is a plus, and we'll train you on themA safety mindset, especially around pedestrians while operating equipmentSchedule flexibility. Our material handlers cover for each other across all three shifts, so overtime and 12 hour days come with the job when someone is out or the schedule demands itComfortable working in a plant that is not climate controlled, including handloading trailers in summer heat and winter coldStrong time management. You'll be judging what each line needs next and staying ahead of itAttention to detail on counts, labels, and locationsA good personality.
