Job Description:
As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a forklift to move, stack, and organize materials in our warehouse or production facility. The ideal candidate should have previous reach truck forklift experience, excellent attention to detail, and a strong focus on safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate reach trucks to transport materials within the warehouse or production areas.
- Load and unload products from trucks and containers.
- Stack and organize materials in designated storage areas.
- Ensure proper maintenance and inspection of forklifts.
- Follow all safety protocols and warehouse procedures.
- Assist with inventory management and other warehouse tasks as needed.
- Report any issues or damages to supervisor.
Qualifications:
- At least 6 months of reach truck experience.
- Shipping/Receiving experience.
- Strong attention to detail and safety-conscious.
- Ability to lift heavy objects up to 75 lbs.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
