Contract Lumber is seeking a safety-focused Forklift Operator/Load Builder to support our wholesale building materials yard. In this role, you will safely operate forklifts to load and unload trucks, stage and build accurate lumber and component loads, and move materials throughout the yard. You’ll read and interpret load sheets, verify counts, inspect products for damage, and secure loads for transport.
You’ll work closely with drivers, dispatch, and yard teams to meet delivery schedules while maintaining a clean, organized, and compliant work area in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
