Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Forklift Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise in a warehouse or industrial environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, or pallet jack) safely and efficiently
- Load and unload trucks and containers
- Move materials to and from storage areas, production lines, and loading docks
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report any issues
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts
- Follow all OSHA safety standards and company policies
- Keep work area clean and organized
Requirements
- Previous forklift experience required (1+ year preferred)
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong attention to safety and detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable transportation and good attendance
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
