Forklift Operator (Cherry Picker)

Responsibilities
- Operate a cherry picker forklift safely and efficiently in a busy distribution center.
- Use a safety harness while operating the cherry picker and working at height.
- Pick, move, and organize orders, including lifting items up to 60 pounds as needed.
- Follow all warehouse safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.
- Inspect equipment and report any safety or maintenance concerns promptly.
- Work collaboratively with warehouse team members to meet productivity and accuracy goals.
- Adapt to varying workloads and support different tasks within the warehouse as required.
Essential Skills
- 1–2 years of experience operating a cherry picker forklift in a warehouse or distribution environment.
- Comfort and proficiency wearing and using a safety harness while operating a cherry picker.
- Strong safety awareness and commitment to following safety protocols.
- Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 60 pounds.
- Experience working in a fast-paced warehouse setting.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Prior experience in general forklift operation.
- Reliability and consistency in attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to work occasional Saturdays as needed.

Work Environment
The role is based in a fast-paced distribution center with a focus on safety and efficiency. You will operate a cherry picker forklift while using a company-supplied safety harness and wearing closed-toe shoes, which are required at all times. The primary shift runs from 10:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, with most openings on a 1:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. shift, Monday through Friday, that includes a $1 per hour shift differential. You can expect to work an average of about 45 hours per week, including approximately one Saturday per month, in a warehouse environment designed to support productivity and safe equipment operation.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $18.50/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
