Forklift Operator
Express Employment Professionals - Irvine is seeking a Forklift Operator for an industrial equipment distributor in the Irvine, CA area. Our client is a respected supplier of industrial products serving customers across a variety of manufacturing and industrial markets. This is a full-time, permanent, evaluation hire opportunity. Hours are 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday. Compensation starts at $20.00/hour.
Responsibilities
- Forklift operation
- Load and unload shipments
- Receiving, inspecting, and organizing inventory
- Picking, packing, and staging customer orders
- Assisting with inventory tracking and stock organization
- Preparing shipments for delivery and carrier pickup
- Performing general warehouse duties as needed
Requirements
- At least one year of shipping and receiving experience
- Forklift operation experience required
- Basic computer literacy
- Experience with inventory or warehouse management systems a plus
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. repetitively
- History of dependability and strong attendance
