Shift Needs: Forklift Operator:
- 1 operator for 1st shift: 12:00 PM - 8:30 PM
- 1 operator for 2nd shift: 3:30 PM - 12:00 AM
- 1 operator for a shift that runs overnight right now 10:00 pm - 6:30 am
- Must be available to work 10-11-hour shifts
- The Warehouse Forklift Operator is responsible for safely operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, load, unload, stack, and organize products throughout the warehouse. This position plays a key role in maintaining inventory accuracy, ensuring timely shipments, and supporting overall warehouse operations while following all company safety procedures.
- Operate sit-down, stand-up, reach truck, and/or pallet jack equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload inbound and outbound trailers.
- Transport raw materials, finished goods, and packaging materials throughout the facility.
- Stack, store, and retrieve pallets in designated warehouse locations.
- Perform daily forklift inspections and report equipment issues immediately.
- Verify product quantities and inspect materials for damage.
- Accurately scan and document inventory movements using warehouse management systems (WMS) or RF scanners.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Keep warehouse aisles, loading docks, and work areas clean and organized.
- Follow all OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
- Work closely with shipping, receiving, production, and quality departments to meet daily operational goals.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous forklift operating experience preferred.
- Forklift certification or the ability to become certified.
- Basic math and computer skills.
- Experience using RF scanners and warehouse inventory systems is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Dependable with excellent attendance and punctuality.
