Forklift OperatorSURESTAFF is immediately hiring Forklift Operators for a client in Elgin, IL. Forklift Operators are responsible for moving raw materials and finished goods from one area to another within both the warehouse and production environment. They will load and unload shipments of various sizes and use different types of equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and dollies.SURESTAFF is invested in their team members!
All temp to hire employees are offered competitive compensation ($19.50/hr.) as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision).Available shifts include:1st shift 6am-2:30pmResponsibilities of the Forklift Operator:Safely load, unload, sort, stack, stage, label, and transport raw materials and finished goods into and out of warehouse/production area using forkliftArrange cartons on pallets and load/unload trucks keeping in mind size, weightUnload trucks and stage freightMaintain attention to detail and complete work assigned in a timely mannerFollow company safety policies and proceduresQualifications of the Forklift Operator:At least 1 year or more experience operating forkliftsAbility to work and communicate well with othersAttention to detail and safety standardsAbility to read and understand written forms and packaging labels, and write information clearly on forms and log sheetsBasic industrial math knowledgeAble to stand and walk for long periods of time and lift up to 40 lbs. when needed.About SurestaffAt Surestaff, we are dedicated to helping individuals unlock their career potential through meaningful job opportunities.
