Pay Rate:
The pay rate for this job is $19 - $19 / hour*
What you'll be doing as a Forklift Operator :
-
Operate Equipment : Drive stand-up forklifts, reach trucks, order pickers, and center riders safely
-
Handle Inventory : Load and unload trailers, move large pallets, and place items in high storage racks (up to 45 feet)

Use Technology : Scan barcodes with handheld computers and follow screen prompts for daily tasks
-
Maintain Safety : Follow strict warehouse safety rules and wear protective gear

Shift Timings: 1st Shift (Day)
Job requirements:
-
Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with PeopleReady

Experience in warehouse settings is preferred
-
Ability to operate forklift and/or pallet jack required
-
Able to repeatedly lift to 50lbs, and able to continually bend, twist, and raise arms above head
-
Some assignments may require a valid driver's license or forklift License/Certificate

Able to work in areas with varying temperatures, lift heavy boxes, and work at high heights
-
Training : Complete Amazon's mandatory safety and equipment certification course during the first few days, even if you have past experience

Background check and drug screening required
