Forklift OperatorThe Forklift Operator is responsible for safely operating forklifts to move, load, and unload products within the warehouse and shipping/receiving areas. This role also includes preparing shipments, maintaining accurate inventory records, and supporting other warehouse operations while meeting quality and productivity standards.Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to load and unload trucks, move goods within the warehouse, and transport materials to staging or shipping areas.Verify and keep records of incoming and outgoing shipments.Assist in packaging and preparing shipments, including Less Than Truckload (LTL) documentation.Use Microsoft Office, Outlook, and other warehouse software for internal communications and record keeping.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, following all company safety policies and procedures.Occasionally assist with assembly tasks and valve automation as instructed by the supervisor.Collaborate with sales and administrative teams on warehouse matters.Attention to detail and ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.High school diploma or GED required.0-2 years of warehouse experience preferred.Experienced forklift operator; certification is a plus.Knowledge of warehouse equipment, machines, and tools.Frequent standing, walking, and operating forklift equipment.Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, or crawling.Regular use of hand and finger dexterity.Occasional lifting or carrying items up to 25 pounds.Occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts, loud noise, and outside weather conditions.This description outlines the general nature and level of work performed in this role and is not an exhaustive list of all duties, responsibilities, and qualifications required.
