Forklift OperatorGeorgia-Pacific is looking for a Forklift Operator for our corrugated sheet feeder plant in Denton, TX!Salary: $22 per hour. 2nd Shift Differential is $0.75Shift: Currently hiring for 2nd shift (2:00pm – 10:00pm) and 3rd shift (10:00pm – 06:00am). Must be available and flexible to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Click here to see how corrugated boxes are made, and click here to explore our products!What You Will Do in Your Role:Safely driving and operating a forklift (obtain/maintain certification)Loading and unloading materialsProperly and accurately completing all required shipping documentation (both manually and with the use of a computer software system)Determining the resources available for the production and distribution processParticipating in setting team goals and managing job assignmentsPerforming general housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and clean work environmentUtilize basic computer skills to complete shipping tasksWilling and able to work in a hot, humid, cold and noisy industrial environmentWilling and able to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as neededWilling and able to sit for at least eight (8) – (12) hours a dayWilling and able to maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, including wearing safety equipment.The Experience You Will Bring:Requirements:One (1) year of experience operating a forklift, clamp truck, or other similar type of equipmentWhat Will Put You Ahead:One (1) year of experience driving and operating a forklift within an industrial or manufacturing environmentPrevious experience using a Radio Frequency (RF) scannerAs a Koch company and a leading manufacturer of bath tissue, paper towels, paper-based packaging, cellulose, specialty fibers, building products and much more, Georgia-Pacific works to meet evolving needs of customers worldwide with quality products.
