As a Forklift Operator, you'll play a key role in keeping production moving by ensuring materials are delivered accurately and efficiently throughout the facility.

What You'll Do

• Operate forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.

• Move raw materials, finished goods, and supplies throughout the facility to support production and shipping needs.

• Load and unload trucks while ensuring materials are handled properly and securely.

• Pick, stage, and prepare orders for shipment with a focus on accuracy and quality.

• Supply production lines with materials and remove finished products to keep operations running smoothly.

• Use RF scanners and SAP systems to track inventory and material movement.

• Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits as needed.

• Inspect materials for damage or discrepancies and report concerns promptly.

• Follow all safety, quality, and food safety guidelines.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

What We're Looking For

• Previous forklift experience in a warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing environment.

• Experience operating reach trucks, stand-up forklifts, sit-down forklifts, pallet jacks, or other powered industrial vehicles.

• Comfortable using RF scanners and inventory management systems.

• Basic computer and math skills.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the shift.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment, including varying temperatures.

• Ability to safely operate equipment in busy production and warehouse areas.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Davenport, IA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
