Forklift Operator/ Warehouse Associate

Our client, a leading logistics and freight forwarding organization, is seeking a Forklift Operator/warehouse associate to join their team. As a Forklift Operator, you will be part of the warehouse operations supporting distribution and shipping activities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a safety-oriented mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Forklift Operator/Warehouse Associate

Location: Cudahy, WI

Pay Range: $24hr

Shift: First shift, 8am-5pm

What's the Job?

• Receive, sort, and segregate incoming shipments for warehouse/distribution facilities
• Load and unload shipments onto or off pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand
• Sort and process outgoing shipments according to established procedures and regulations
• Load shipments into vehicles and secure with strapping, bracing, and padding using hand tools
• Prepare and update information in computerized systems such as logs, packing lists, pick tickets, and inventories

What's Needed?

• Minimum of 2 years of forklift experience (sit-down forklift required)
• Ability to operate hand jacks, forklifts, and other warehouse equipment safely
• Strong attention to detail and follow-up skills
• Ability to walk and stand for long periods and lift 60-80 pounds
• Experience in warehouse distribution or freight forwarding industry preferred
