Overnight Forklift Operator Paying $21/hr!
Job Description
This role involves operating sit-down, stand-up reach, and cherry picker forklifts to support daily warehouse operations in a fast-paced distribution environment. You will handle materials, move pallets, and perform order selection while consistently lifting up to 50 pounds and maintaining a safe and organized work area. Hours are 5:30pm-3am.
Responsibilities

Operate sit-down forklifts, stand-up reach trucks, and cherry picker forklifts safely and efficiently throughout the shift.

Perform palletizing and case selecting activities continuously to support production and order fulfillment.

Handle material movement, including loading and unloading trailers and trucks using forklifts and pallet jacks.

Pick and stage orders accurately using RF scanners and other warehouse equipment.

Support shipping and receiving operations by organizing, loading, and unloading pallets and cases.

Use pallet jacks and other material handling tools to move pallets and products within the distribution center.

Perform general labor tasks as needed, including heavy lifting up to 50 pounds on a consistent basis.

Maintain accurate inventory handling during picking, loading, and production activities.

Follow all safety procedures and guidelines while operating equipment and moving materials.

Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards to support efficient warehouse operations.
Essential Skills
-
At least 2 years of experience operating reach forklifts and cherry picker forklifts.

Proficiency operating sit-down forklifts, stand-up forklifts, reach trucks, and stand-up reach trucks.

Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds consistently throughout the shift.

Experience with material handling, including loading, unloading, and moving pallets.

Order picking and case selecting experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment.

Hands-on experience with pallet jacks and palletizing products.

Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes and procedures.

Ability to use RF scanners for inventory, picking, and production tasks.

Comfort working in a non–climate-controlled distribution center.

Strong attention to safety and ability to follow equipment and warehouse safety guidelines.
Additional Skills & Qualifications

Previous experience in a high-volume distribution center or production environment.

Experience with inventory handling and basic production support tasks.

Ability to perform repetitive tasks and heavy lifting throughout the day.

Work Environment
This position is based in a non–climate-controlled distribution center where temperatures can vary with the seasons. You will work around active forklift traffic, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment throughout your shift. The role involves continuous movement, frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds, and extended periods operating sit-down forklifts, stand-up reach trucks, and cherry pickers. The environment is fast-paced and production-oriented, with a focus on safe, efficient handling of pallets, cases, and inventory.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Arlington, TX.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
