Forklift Operator and Material HandlerWe are seeking a reliable Operations Technician to support production, warehouse, and logistics activities within a manufacturing and distribution environment. This role involves a variety of responsibilities including material handling, inventory support, production operations, product processing, quality checks, and shipping preparation. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced setting, adapting to changing priorities throughout the year, and contributing across multiple departments as operational needs evolve.ResponsibilitiesReceive, inspect, and process incoming and outgoing materials.Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move product throughout the facility.Support production and processing operations while maintaining quality standards.Package, label, and prepare product for distribution.Perform inventory transactions and maintain accurate records within company systems.Stage materials and finished goods for shipment and storage.Conduct routine inspections of containers, equipment, and work areas.Assist with cleaning, organization, and general facility upkeep.Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and operational continuity.Follow all safety, quality, and operational procedures.Essential SkillsPrior experience operating forklift or similar material handling equipment.Experience in shipping and receiving, material handling, and general labor.Proficiency with RF scanners, pallet jacks, sit down and stand up forklifts.Experience with unloading, picking, order picking, packaging, and shipping & receiving.Familiarity with warehouse inventory management.Additional Skills & QualificationsAbility to work independently and as part of a team.Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.Ability to adapt to changing priorities and business needs.Comfortable working in a manufacturing, warehouse, or industrial environment.Experience in manufacturing, production, agriculture, warehousing, logistics, or related operations.Knowledge of industrial processes and quality standards.Why Work Here?Join a company that truly values its people. The position requires working a rotating shift schedule, with shifts rotating approximately every four weeks between day and overnight schedules. Standard shifts may include both 8-hour and 10-hour schedules depending on operational needs.Job Type & LocationThis is a contract position based out of New Madrid, MO.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.78 - $22.17/hr.
