Forklift Operator / Order Selector 3rd Shift
We are seeking a dependable 3rd Shift Forklift Operator / Order Selector to join a growing warehouse and distribution operation. This role primarily involves operating a stand-up forklift to perform order selecting, along with regular manual material handling, including lifting and moving product by hand. This is a hands-on, physically active position requiring reliability, strong communication skills, and attention to accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a stand-up forklift to perform order selecting
- Use RF scanners to accurately pick and track inventory
- Manually lift, carry, and move 25–50 lb bags of material as part of daily operations
- Load, stage, and organize product for shipping
- Maintain accurate inventory and follow picking procedures
- Follow all safety, quality, and productivity standards
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
- Perform general warehouse duties as needed
Required Qualifications
- Prior forklift operating experience
- Ability to lift and carry 25–50 pounds regularly
- Order selecting or picking experience
- Ability to stand, walk, lift, and carry throughout the entire shift
- Strong communication skills
- Reliable transportation and excellent attendance
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Preferred Qualifications
- Stand-up forklift experience (training available if needed)
- Warehouse or distribution center experience
- RF scanner experience
- Inventory management experience
